Our family stayed at Sea World Resort on our family holiday. We booked the “Ultimate Holiday” package, stayed for 5 nights, we received red and white wine and goodie bags for the kids. It includes unlimited entry to the theme parks, namely Sea World, Movie World , Wet n’ Wild and Paradise Country.
We love that the resort have a direct access to Sea World via Sea World Monorail, a scenic ride to and from Sea World, yay ! One of our favourite is the resort’s exclusive Dolphin Discovery Presentation and it is included when you stay for 2 nights or more. The presentation is the behind the scenes Dolphin training session. We met 2 pairs of different dolphins, yay ! Love this as we have extra time to see the dolphins.
We enjoyed the heated pool and the waterfall, so relaxing. Lifeguards are also on duty until 9 PM. Kids splashed around with Sponge Bob Square Pants and Patrick Star, Squidward water play. Every evening there is a Sponge Bob Light Show where kids can dance and sing along under the musical water fountain, our kids had a blast chasing the lights and the water. We had a lot of wet clothes but not a problem, there is a laundry facility in the resort.
If you love water sports, it is located right on the shores of the resort . An action packed water activities, like Jet skis , boat, etc. There are other activities and facilities that I did not mention, check the resort for more info.
Kids also have met Sponge Bob Square Pants in the morning at the Gazebo after our breakfast and before we head for an adventure. Did I just mentioned breakfast… breakfast means food, right ?
There are restaurants in the resort, alternatively you can have in room dining.
We tried the the Lobby Lounge the foods were delicious, we love the Margarita Pizza as it is not too oily. Kids love the burgers from the kids Menu. The chips and wedges were nice, both were consistently nicely cooked in different occasions.
We also tried Shoreline Restaurant for buffet breakfast and dinner. We love that we can have a freshly cooked egg for breakfast, you can ask if you like it scrambled, poached or sunny side up. We love the cheesy sausage and rice, yes….you read it right… rice. There were a lot of choices, from breads, waffles, croissants, etc and even in fruits, love the fruits . For dinner, there were also a lot of choices, we had seafood, prawns, seafood salad , roast, yummy battered fish, the Pao… Oh Pao ! The Pao the bread was so soft and delicious – we loved it so much. For dessert, we mainly had fruits and just tried few cakes.
And our favourite – Hatsuhana Japanese Restaurant. We had the Family Banquet and it is good for 2 adults and 2 children, we also tried the interesting Japanese dessert. We had our last dinner here when were in Sea World Resort and the kids had sushi and we had delicious noodles. It was an experience dining here, we were also entertained, watched the Teppanyaki chef’s tricks, flames and throwing and his diners catching food.
After dinner, we love to go to the pool area, if not swimming, we walked and looked at the views.
There was a time when our daddy had his morning walk and then bought breakfast and called Uber back to the resort. Speaking of Uber, we used this service getting around and the cars were readily available within minutes.
