We wandered around Dinosaur World Park in Sommerville in Melbourne Victoria, and kids pretended to be a paleontologist for a day. Our dinosaur loving kids enjoyed this adventure, as we went back in time when the dinosaurs rule the world. We have explored the park, watched and heard the animatronic dinosaurs became alive, rooaarrr ! Amazed and excited as the ginormous creatures walk the earth millions of years ago. They tried to name each dinosaurs as we walk and observe, curiousity ignited, imagination sparked.
Pretending to be a paleontologist they searched for dino fossils, a lot of digging and shoving and finally their patience paid off – they finally found their dinosaur fossils. It didn’t ended there though, after digging their own unearthed fossils they have to chip and scrape to reveal the fossil. Yeahey!
Walking interactive dinosaurs were there to amaze the kids, here you go another photo opportunity.
Did we hear a tummy rumbling? Yes, you can bring your food and have a picnic and kids can rest and play in the playground. There is no food kiosk so you must bring your food, but we were lucky when we visited because there was a sausage sizzle, and the snags were free, yay!
There was also a mini ride to visit the Christmas tree farms as they located at the same area. If you are looking for a place for your dinosaur loving kids, you can come a visit this park.
